New Website Launches in Time for Holiday Shopping
Baton Rouge, LA—MESH launched the new Lee Michaels Fine Jewelry website over the Thanksgiving holiday, just in time for holiday shopping. The new site, which emphasizes e-commerce has more than 5,000 pages where shoppers can choose from thousands of items including jewelry, diamonds, timepieces and gifts.
More buyers today are choosing to make even expensive purchases online rather than visiting the stores in person, which is accented by this year’s record-breaking Cyber Monday sales of $1.25 billion.
Visitors to the new Lee Michaels’ site are no different and can now enjoy easier navigation and functionality while shopping popular designer collections such as Gurhan, Mikimoto, Baume & Mercier and Waterford. While shopping on the new site, buyers can also filter preferences, such as material type, price, gemstones and jewelry type.
“We wanted the new site to be as functional as it was aesthetically pleasing,” said Taylor Bennett, Partner and Creative Director of MESH Integrated Marketing and Advertising. “Lee Michaels is a well-established brand, both locally and regionally, that represents elegance, tradition and quality. It was paramount to both us and Lee Michaels that those characteristics were prominent throughout the site, while still promoting the convenience of online shopping.”
One of the newest additions to the Lee Michaels’ website is The Five C’s Diamond Buying Guide, which allows customers to receive in-depth and interactive information on how to properly purchase diamonds and how to identify a high-quality diamond from other low-quality diamonds. The Five C’s (traditionally known as the “four C’s”) demonstrate cut, clarity, color, carat weight and the Lee Michaels’ addition of “confidence.” The Five C’s Guide is available at each Lee Michaels’ location or available through the Apple Store for iPad owners.
