As MESH continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced candidate to lead our local sales initiatives.
The sales associate role is an integral member of our business. He/She will work hand-in-hand with the
leadership team members to help grow our agency. They will work with potential clients of all sizes to
educate them on MESH services, and how we can provide value to their organization. Our ideal candidate is outgoing, personable, well-connected in the community, a quick learner, and driven to succeed.

Role Overview
The Sales Executive role is a key component of our sales strategy. He/She will also seek out new business in a variety of ways in order to identify qualified prospects, build a pipeline of opportunities and close new business for the agency. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong organizational skills, a solid communication approach, and have a general aptitude for sales, building relationships and driving new business for MESH. They should have a base knowledge of marketing concepts and services, and be able to clearly articulate our related services to prospects. In addition, he/she will work closely with agency leadership, as well as digital, creative and strategy teams to create tailored proposals that deliver measurable results.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Write and manage sales proposals
- Educate prospective clients and partners on agency capabilities
- Work with Leadership/Client Services teams to develop solutions
- Build relationships with prospects and follow-up appropriately to progress valid opportunities
- Leverage sales CRM for prospecting and opportunity tracking
- Articulate the agencies approach and differentiators
- Meet sales objectives on a quarterly basis through diverse sales activities focused on media, creative, digital and strategic service offerings.
- Implement effective handoffs to Brand Management team after each sale
- Networking, Cold Calling and sales outreach
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, confident, organized and results oriented with attention to detail
- Effective interpersonal communication, negotiations and presentation skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an outside B2B advertising and/or media sales
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue sales goals
- Strong understanding of digital, print, broadcast, social and/or OOH media channels
- Marketing agency experience is a PLUS
- Existing network of advertisers/brand contacts a PLUS
- Google Docs and CRM experience is a PLUS
Education
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business, Sales or related field
